It’s Pawpaw season — as you heard on our recent episode with Michael Judd! And Foraged.Market is your source for this American treasure!

You know Foraged.Market as the place for buyers and sellers of wild-sourced and specialty foods from around the world. Right now, as the pawpaws are in their final stage of ripening, Foraged.Market is gearing up for the harvest, preparing to ship ripe pawpaws (some are already shipping now!) and frozen pawpaw purees to hungry folks like you all over the country and world!

They’ve also got pawpaw cookbooks, our recent podcast guest Michael Judd’s online pawpaw course, pawpaw seedlings, and more. Check out the great pawpaw landing page they’ve built at Foraged.Market/pawpaws to start shopping and to get on the pawpaw waitlist. As soon as the Ohio harvest happens, these fruits will start shipping! Don’t wait! This is a seasonal, zero-sum game, and the pawpaw inventory won’t last long!

Remember, Foraged.Market has tons of wild foods, including wild foraged mushrooms like chanterelles, chicken of the woods, lobster mushrooms, morels, and so much more. In fact, if people are foraging it, they probably carry it.

And if you are looking for a great side hustle that’s in alignment with your values and passions, consider becoming a seller there as well.

The site is Foraged.Market/pawpaws for America’s largest native fruit!

And Foraged.Market for all your favorite wild and specialty foods!

THE HUNTER’S JOURNEY

Hunting season is right around the corner.

If you dream of being able to successfully & sustainably harvest food from the land, this may be your perfect next step.

Learning to hunt can be overwhelming, especially without a mentor.

From finding land, to developing the skills, learning to process your harvest and finding people with shared values to hunt with.

The Hunter’s Journey is a thriving online course and community with mentors ready to guide you from where ever you are right now to becoming a successful hunter.

Their team believes in stewardship of the land, reverence for the species they hunt and respect for all people.

Many of their students got out on their first successful hunts last season utilizing what they’d learned through The Hunter’s Journey.

Remember, even if you are not quite ready to harvest an animal yourself, you can apply these skills to shooting with a camera.
