Red Kill Mountain in upstate New York is home to the state’s largest wild apple savannah. This unique ecotone boasts thousands of seed-grown feral apple trees in a pristine, spring water fed mountain side over-looking the Delaware River valley.

Red Kill Mountain hand selects apples and gently packs them in boxes to ship directly to your door. While these apples make great hard cider or other apple products, Ashley and Mathew believe they are best enjoyed simply eaten. That’s why they’ve created their Wild Apple Tasting Box and their Wild Apple Cleanse Kit.

When you order you’ll receive carefully chosen apples from a variety of trees while they’re in the peak of their ripeness.

Go over to RedKillMountain.com to check out their apples and other products too, like their limited run apple molasses, bourbon barrel maple syrup, and more.

The coupon code WILDFED10 gets you 10% off the best, most natural apples you’ll ever have at Red Kill Mountain.

Meet Sunny Savage

Sunny fell in love with wild foods at an early age while growing up in the Northwoods of Minnesota. She had inherited her parent’s eagerness to reconnect with nature and the land. Now an internationally recognized authority on wild foods, Sunny is passionate about sharing her intimate connection with the wild. She authored Wild Food Plants of Hawai’i, and is the creator of the Savage Kitchen mobile-app; which empowers people in utilizing edible invasive plant species, and helps them to feel comfortable navigating a world where they can one day enjoy “one wild food every day”. An adventurer at heart, she traveled to every continent before reaching her 30th birthday; and her wild food cooking series Hot on the Trail has been aired in countries around the globe.
